Monthly Meeting

A General Meeting, with refreshments, is held the first Thursday of each month, October through May, at the Ramona Woman’s Club, 524 Main Street, Ramona. Meetings begin at 1:00 p.m. but come early to see your friends. In September, we begin our year with a Welcome Back Coffee, hosted by the Executive Board, that begins at 10:00 a.m. Our year ends on the first Thursday in June with a potluck and new officer initiation. This meeting usually begins at noon.

Scholarships 2013-2014

The Ramona Woman’s Club announces the beginning of our scholarship process for 2013. In the past, two (2) scholarships each year have been awarded to Ramona High School graduates AFTER they have completed one year of college. Last year, a vocational scholarship was awarded for the first time. Information about requirements and the scholarship questionnaire can be found on this website at Fundraising. In order to be considered, the completed application and transcripts MUST be received by the scholarship committee by Tuesday, May 28, 2013. Further questions??? The Ramona Woman’s Club’s May meeting will be held Thursday, May 2nd, starting at 1pm at 524 Main Street, Ramona. The Ramona Choraleers will help us get a head start on Memorial Day celebrations by leading our members and guests in a Patriotic sing-a-long. Everyone is invited to attend. The Ramona Woman’s Club’s April meeting will be held Thursday, April 4th starting at 1pm. Meetings are held at 524 Main Street, Ramona. Dave’s Auto will be our guest giving us helpful maintenance tips on our cars. This promises to be a very worthwhile program with the warmer months ahead. Everyone is invited to attend. The Ramona Woman’s Club’s annual Fashion Show and Luncheon Tea [flyer] will be on Thursday, April 11th at 524 Main Street, Ramona. Seating for the “Roses Are Red, Violets Are Blue” luncheon will begin at 11:30 am. Fashions by Draper’s & Damon’s will be modeled by members of the Ramona Woman’s Club. Tickets are $20.00 each.
